Consid wins deal with Swedish public service radio

The IT and communications company, Consid, is one of the companies selected as Swedish National Radio updates its IT infrastructure. Consid will be involved in four out of five areas: app development, system development, assignments/management, and digital product design.

The framework agreement with Sweden’s Radio runs for two years, with the possibility of extension for another two years. For Consid, this means that they will be able to utilize the expertise of their development team.

– It’s a big client and a big deal. In total, it’s about 30 million per year that we are sharing with the others who have been allocated. For Consid, it is certainly a strength to be involved in deals with companies of this size, said Peter Hellgren, CEO of Consid.

In total, there are five areas that Swedish National Radio is seeking consultancy help for – app development, system development, assignments/management, digital product design, and accessibility. Consid will be involved in all areas except accessibility.

– The project is very exciting. Working with a client like Swedish National Radio, a public service company, means that we are involved in developing digital services that play a significant role at a societal level. These will be services that everyone has access to, which is very motivating, said Peter Hellgren.

Overall, a total of 40 companies have been awarded the framework agreement, ComputerSweden repports.
