Consid's tailored approach to Danish market drives success and sets them apart

The establishment of Consid in Denmark has exceeded expectations. Now Sweden’s best employer is ready to accelerate further and grab a position in the neighboring country as well.

Since the fall of 2022, the Swedish IT company Consid has been present in Denmark and the establishment with their little brother has reached record levels in a short period of time. Already after just under six months, the Copenhagen office has hired about 20 people, with more on the way. The goal is to have 40 employees before the end of the year.

-We want to have at least 40 and feel that it is absolutely not an impossible number. We have an incredibly determined and ambitious team working on our record-breaking growth establishment down in Copenhagen and Denmark, says Carl Hagberg, who is responsible for Consid’s establishment in Denmark.

The ambition is also to increase revenue to be able to close 2023 with SEK 40 million. The goal is possible thanks to the already rapid establishment and growth. Christoffer Thiel is responsible for sales in Denmark and tells us that they have received a warm welcome on the other side of the Öresund.

-The market is ready for a company like Consid. Copenhagen has given the company a good platform for further development and expansion.

The fact that Consid’s model has worked well in Sweden gives confidence in the new market. But Carl Hagberg is careful to point out that they have placed great importance on adapting the company to Danish culture in order to continue to be the local consulting company. The combination has made Consid stand out as a brand and employer.

-It is clear in the market that we are a newcomer who is really making an impact on both customers and consultants, and in short, we have found our home, but we are moving forward,” he says.

Consid was founded 22 years ago and has seen dramatic growth in recent years. In 2022, over 500 people were hired in the company and offices were opened in both Germany and Denmark. The turnover for the full year 2022 will be over SEK 2.1 billion, an increase of almost 40 percent.
