The intranet is one of the most important places for employee experience, information gathering, and communication in a company. But how can we help increase productivity, efficiency, and business value?
Many intranets today have a lot of useful information. When combined with the need to gather some other information from other internal sources, it often creates an employee experience that is not optimal. In some cases, it’s so bad that you have to ask a colleague, “where can I find what?” However, a chatbot, like ChatGPT, which has gained popularity in recent months, could improve the employee experience on an intranet by providing users with easy and quick access to necessary information and support before, during, and after work.
A chatbot could help employees by answering their questions, providing instructions, information, and linking to relevant pages and documents. This is based on data such as the content on the intranet, as well as other systems such as CRM, personnel registry, payroll systems, and the like. It would not only help employees navigate the intranet by providing tips and suggestions on how to find specific information or features, but also make them more efficient in their work.
