Challenge

At our first contact, Strömsholmen had a slightly outdated website for the brand Kaller, kaller.com, without a clear product orientation. The challenge we were facing was to modernize it.

Our assignment began with a study where we developed a digital roadmap to highlight needs and opportunities for the upcoming years. We also identified future opportunities and effects for the company’s digital presence. The study resulted in the decision that we would create a modern product-oriented web solution for better support.

Solution

We replaced the existing web platform and developed the new website in Episerver. In order to create the product-oriented solution, Episerver Commerce was used, which was integrated with inRiver PIM, from which the product information was retrieved.

The agile project required it to be implemented in different stages in order for the organization to have the opportunity to keep up with the development. We took into account internal and external efficiency, the historical heritage, accessibility, information quality and future requirements.

Result

The project resulted in a completely new web solution for kaller.com, with Episerver version 10 as web publishing tool and inRiver version 6 as PIM system. The new website has been very well received by Strömsholmen and their customers, thanks to the website’s product-oriented structure and the improved search possibilities to find the right product information.

Strömsholmen AB in Tranås develops, manufactures and markets KALLER gas springs and gas hydraulic systems for press tools and heavy off-road vehicles. Their brand has been a world leader for many years. The company has been in the business since 1876 and has developed and refined this technology since 1983. KALLER has its own manufacturing and assembly in both Sweden and North America.
