With over 100 years in the industry, Bergans of Norway is one of the Nordic region’s leading players in the development of functional outdoor equipment and technical garments. The company has worked closely with a team of professional polar explorers and adventurers for a long time.
Now Bergans was looking for a new partnership that could offer expertise and knowledge and thereby optimize the company’s digital presence. Bergans had a specific need – update the website and develop the digital solutions and the functions for online product sales.
A strong requirement was optimization. The user experience for devices such as mobile phones needed an update.
We created a new visual expression with improved UX design and we strengthened SEO optimization to increase the traffic from one of Bergan’s most important sources.
Instead of rebuilding the entire platform, we made changes and updates at the frontend and at the content level.
We have had very positive results and they have been measured since the launch of the new website. In August 2018, the efforts had resulted in a sales increase of 421 percent and an increased conversion rate of 300 percent, compared to the same period last year.
